He has worked for architects such as John Simpson, Tony Rivers, Anthony Browne Associates and the large house builders; McCarthy & Stone. With specific building experience Toby has literally worked on site for several years gaining essential "hands on" practical experience. Toby has also successfully run his own FMB registered building company for several years and has an understanding of the building process from the contractor's point of view, a very rare quality amongst architects. Ten years ago Toby took over as managing director of Barnes Design and it has gone from strength to strength. He is handsome and charismatic but can also be slightly deluded.

has ten year's experience specifically with Barnes Design as well as experience as the Head of Interior Design for the House of Lords at the Houses of Parliament. As director she is a clever and talented multi-disciplined designer with a diploma, a degree and masters in Interior Architectural design from Wimbledon School of Art and Central St Martin's College of Art & Design, London. She has hundreds of both architectural and interior design projects under her belt and is passionate about the combination of architecture and design to provide our clients with a functional and aesthetic holistic solution to a design brief. Kelly is highly determined and ambitious with a pedantic attention to detail streak. As a self-confessed perfectionist she has to be constantly reminded of the meaning of a live/work balance. Apart from Mondays, where Kelly often has to leave early to "play netball".

qualified with a first class degree from Nottingham Trent University and was immediately snapped up by Barnes Design, who had previously employed her as a placement student. Her design skills and judgement are also first class and her speed and space planning abilities with autocad are outstanding. Janice is a specialist in 3D rendering and property development but she also has an unhealthy passion for shoes and pink drinks that will undoubtedly be her downfall.

Katherine has an amazing design acumen and also specialises in design visualisation. Despite her bizarre dislike of odd numbers, her extensive knowledge of design software ensures her skills as an outstanding designer. Zig-a-Zig-Ah.
