For more than 26 years, our team has worked across residential and development projects including house extensions, loft conversions, whole house refurbishments, new build homes, restaurant interiors, commercial refurbishments, small and large site development schemes.

Our story so far….
Barnes Design was originally an interior design practice founded by Mr. & Mrs. Anthony & Anne Barnes in the 1980s. An interior design powerhouse at the time, they specialised in mainly hotel design, rolling out regular schemes for Trust House Forte Hotels, Corus & Regal Hotels and Posthouse Hotel brands as well as other small to medium sized independent hotels throughout London, Winchester and Windsor. In the 1990s Mr & Mrs. Barnes reluctantly retired, handing the business to one of their senior designers at the time, and his college friend and architect, Toby Young.
Kelly Robinson joined Barnes Design as a student interior designer in 2000, developing and honing Barnes Designs’ foundations into what has stood for the past 26 years, serving South West London and the surrounding areas with outstanding interior & exterior design expertise.
Barnes Design continued to develop and evolve introducing new services to the portfolio to create a unique, fully managed project service where everything from concept to construction can be dealt with on your behalf, so that you can be involved as little, or as much as you want.
The vision, knowledge, experience and unique approaches that Toby & Kelly (backed by a full team of architectural designers) bring, along with a truly ‘client first’ approach, have led Barnes Design to create stunning projects in both the residential and commercial property types. This level of experience helps when it comes to tricky planning applications or unique building layouts, so that we not only execute the associated design work but projects can actually be built. Barnes Design strives to make the project headaches fade away, managing the process on your behalf.
